Click to Buy’s Q1 2024 Release: More Features to Help Sell Home Services Online
At Click to Buy, we’ve been a little quiet, but behind the scenes we’ve been busy, busy, busy.
Busy listening to what our customers want. Busy onboarding new clients. AND, very busy building, testing, AND launching new features that help to further streamline the process of selling home services online. We’ve got a ton of new features in the hopper too, but these are some of the most recent features we’ve rolled out in just the last couple of months.
- Same-day scheduling
If desired, a homeowner can now request service “today” on the calendar if they purchase before noon.
- Variable Initial Setup Costs
The initial setup or treatment costs of recurring home services can now be the same for every home OR calculated based on their house or yard size. A bigger yard or home means a bigger initial setup cost. Let’s go!
- Service-Specific SQFT Modifiers
For any service that calculates the service cost using the home or yard SQFT, you can specify how much of that SQFT you’d like to use for the pricing calculations. There has always been a global setting, but now there’s a service-specific setting, too.
- Upgraded Calculations for SQFT of the Yard
In addition to using the home’s and total yard’s SQFT for calculation, with a new enhancement, you can also subtract the home’s SQFT from the total yard’s SQFT to get a more precise, treatable yard SQFT. Pro tip: Toss in a service-specific SQFT modifier to further refine the cost. For example, to calculate mosquito treatments, you can use 90% of the yard SQFT returned after subtracting the home’s SQFT.
- Zapier Address Components
The CtB Zapier integration has been expanded to break the customer address into different parts (street, city, zip). This can help streamline entering that home information into CRM tools like PestPac Service Center.
- Expanded Customer Fallbacks
Ensuring that no leads (sales or estimates) are lost is super important to our team. To help provide the best experience for your customers and increase the opportunities for selling more services, we’ve added several extra fallback experiences to help any homes that don’t have publicly available SQFTs, customers who aren’t quite ready to buy, and customers who select multiple add-on services to their carts. These fallbacks help ensure a positive customer experience each step of the way.
- UX & Accessibility Upgrades
We’ve further refined the Click to Buy mobile experience for those homeowners who want to buy home services on the go and improved the overall web accessibility/ADA conformance to be more inclusive to users with disabilities.
